The Next Reality

I would like to be the first to report on the next "reality T.V. show". It's about the men and women who put their life on the line as doctors for Rock Medicine. They're the ones we turn to in times of crisis during a rock concert. Their existence arose from the constant need for medical attention at these events. Particularly week-end long festivals. These events become miniature cities for the duration.
Always looking for a new subject to exploit, VH-1 has sent a crew out to San Francisco to record the life of Rock Med doctors and put together a ten week series of reality programing. I've only become aware of this because my good friend, Dr. Dan, is one of the subjects. He's kept me entertained for years with the latest tales of stupidity he's encountered, especially during the late night shifts that he prefers. Hopefully, the show will be as entertaining.
While I always thought it would make a good subject for a documentary, I hope they can find enough stories to fill ten weeks. How many acid flashbacks, alcohol overdoses, or punctured eardrums can we watch? If they do it right, I'd say about ten weeks worth.
