Dancin' in the Streets

The automobile ads that I've grown accustomed to over the years usually show the cars speeding across the Bonneville Salt Flats, or gliding through country hillsides in Sonoma County. The ads that are now directed toward the early twenties crowd of drivers is disturbing. I keep seeing these ads where everybody in the car is singing and dancing.....it's a traveling party on wheels at 65 M.P.H. Hey, what a great time they're having! See everybody laughing? The car IS the destination! "That's goin' to be me!" says the 15 year old viewer.
So,.... now the public roads are filling with vehicles full of first time drivers rockin' & rollin' the night away, paying little attention to safety so as not to "kill the buzz". Loud music....fast movement....it's freedom man! Give these kids a lot of leeway when you see them. For your own safety. It's not ENTIRELY their fault. They're invincible.
